Assign Tag Node

Adds an existing tag to the contact going through this flow. Use it for segmentation — for example, tagging everyone who completes a particular flow path so you can target them in a later broadcast.

How to Use

1. Drag an Assign Tag node onto the canvas and connect it from the preceding node.
2. Select the tag to apply from the dropdown (tags are created/managed outside the Flow Builder, under your Tags settings).
3. Connect the node’s output to whatever should run next.

Validation

• A tag must be selected — this is required.

Summary

1. Add the node, connect it from the previous step.
2. Pick a tag from the dropdown.
3. Connect to the next node. Applying a tag the contact already has is safe — it won’t create a duplicate.
