Ad Welcome Sequence Node
The Ad Welcome Sequence Node starts a chatbot flow when a customer taps a suggested reply or FAQ from your Ad Welcome Message Sequence after clicking a Click-to-WhatsApp ad.
Use this trigger instead of the Keyword Node when a chatbot should only start from an ad click, not from a contact typing a word on their own.
Before You Start
The sequence itself (its name, welcome text, and the Prefilled Message or FAQ/Quick Replies it offers) is created separately under Chatbot → Ad Welcome Sequences. See Ad Welcome Message Sequence for how to set that up. This node is where you connect an already-created sequence to a chatbot flow.
Selecting a Sequence
Open the node and choose a sequence from the dropdown. Once selected, its welcome text and every candidate phrase (the Autofill Message plus any FAQ/Quick Reply options) are shown as checkboxes.
Choosing Which Phrases Start This Flow
Only phrases you leave checked can trigger this chatbot. Uncheck any phrase you don’t want connected — a customer tapping an unchecked phrase won’t have anywhere to go, since it gets no connection on the canvas.
Each checked phrase becomes its own connection point on the node, so you can route different phrases to different next steps — for example, sending a “Product Inquiry” tap down a different path than a “Pricing” tap, even though both came from the same sequence.
Session Expiry
Same as the Keyword Node — set how long to wait after the contact’s last message before automatically ending the session, and what message to send when it ends. See Keyword Node — Session Expiry for details.
