Field Mapping
By default, when a contact is sent to Zoho Bigin, only the name and phone number are included. Field Mapping lets you choose additional WappCloud fields to send into specific Zoho Bigin fields — useful if your Zoho Bigin setup has custom fields you want kept in sync.
How to Set Up Field Mapping
Step 1: Open Field Mapping
Go to Integration > Zoho Bigin > Settings > Field Mapping.
Step 2: Choose a WappCloud Field
Pick the WappCloud field you want to send (for example, contact name).
Step 3: Choose the Matching Zoho Bigin Field
Select which field in Zoho Bigin it should be written into.
Step 4: Save
Your mapping is saved and applies to every contact pushed from that point forward.
Note: The name and phone number are always sent regardless of mapping — mapping only adds extra fields on top, it never removes the defaults.
Changing or Resetting a Mapping
Return to the Field Mapping tab at any time to update which field goes where, or clear the mapping back to defaults-only.
If a Mapped Field Isn’t Showing Up in Zoho Bigin
- Double-check the mapping is saved (reopen the tab to confirm it still shows your selection).
- Make sure the target field still exists in Zoho Bigin — if it was renamed or deleted there, the mapping needs to be updated to point at the new field.
